Engineer Out of the Box
The advantage of remote support is that assistance can be provided quickly. On-site visits are expensive, polluting and difficult……this was recently proven by the COVID-19 crisis. The EOB allows engineers to assist employees on site. The engineer can supervise using a camera and there is a microphone and speaker to communicate via audio and video. A chat function allows data to be sent. Of course, all of this is fully safeguarded so that data is secure at all times.
While the EOB works remotely, it is secure and also protects the interests of the customer and the service-providing engineer
- The EOB is a box with a touch-screen, which can only be placed on site at the desired time in the event of emergencies and can only be removed when the problem has been resolved
- It operates independently of the corporate network, thus preventing the corporate network from being hacked via the EOB.
- The EOB also works if a computer is not present
- The EOB is very user-friendly; there is no need to install any software
- The EOB is robust and can be placed anywhere
- Only one EOB is required per location
In the event of an emergency, the EOB can be taken and placed on the desk. Place the plug in the wall socket, insert a camera into the box and log in via WiFi (use GUEST WiFi). That’s all it takes to connect. The box can be placed anywhere, provided there is power nearby and reasonable internet reception.
The EOB can be used for multiple machines or departments. Assuming that multiple systems do not malfunction simultaneously.
The EOB operates based on a subscription structure. Once the subscription is agreed, the EOB will be sent and a monthly subscription fee will be charged.
The agreed subscription will not be renewed automatically. However, if the EOB is not returned within one month of the end of the subscription period, the subscription will be renewed for the same subscription period retroactively.
